Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Put the butter in an 8 by 8inch baking
dish and put the dish in the oven until butter is melted, about 3 to 4 minutes.
Remove the baking dish from the oven and set aside. In a medium bowl combine 3/4
cup of the sugar, the flour, and 2 tablespoons cocoa. Add the milk and vanilla,
whisking until smooth. Pour over the melted butter in the baking dish. In a
separate medium bowl, combine the remaining 1 cup of sugar, remaining 4
tablespoons of cocoa, the pecans, and toffee bits; sprinkle evenly over the
sugar mixture. Slowly pour boiling water over top of the cobbler. Bake until top
of the cobbler looks set, about 40 to 50 minutes. balenciaga

This is an outstanding recipe. It is really really rich and it turned out
great. It seemed similar to my hot fudge pudding cake in consistency. Similar to

tsp of instant espresso to the pecan/toffee/sugar mixture that is sprinkled on
top to punch up the chocolate delivery. I didn have chocolate/vanilla swirl ice
cream so used french vanilla along with the caramel whipped cream. I don think
both are necessary and would probably go with one or the other. However, I will
be using the caramel whipped cream on other thingsthat would be fantastic on
apple pie or apple crisp.

This is soooo delicious! It has the potential to be TOO much chocolate but
when you pair it with the carmel whipped topping it blends perfectly and takes
the edge of the chocolate without losing it completely. The only thing I did
differently is I added about 4 more tablespoons of milk and I also only added 1
1/4 cup of boiling water. I at a high altitude so I baked it for about 55
minutes and then I let it sit for about 10 which helped to firm up the bottom
so. You HAVE to let it sit. When it first comes out the oven it seems too
watery, let it sit a bit and then it perfect. I think that may be the issue some
people ran into; IMPATIENCE. Anywho, this receipe was a hit! My husband doesn
even like chocolate unless it icecream and he ate a whole bowl of this with the

Made this for my husband birthday and he LOVED it! I have to admit while I
was putting this together I was skeptical we like it. all the sugar I just
thought it be overly sweet. It is so incredibly decadent! The crunchy balenciaga purses

Cobbler and all i want to say is that every reciepe i ever tried of Paula Deens
was excellent the reciepes are easy to follow and as in every Reciepe you have
to adjust certin things according to your oven or stove maybe people who try the
reciepes stop and read and take their time on preparing them they will come out
better. On the shows things seem so easy and quick you cannot always be rushed
to do how the chefs do so take your time and read the reciepes all the way
threw.

German chocolate. Made it almost exactly to recipe the only difference was that
(like some of the other reviewers), the 1/2 cup of milk was not enough. SUPER

I love, loved today show. Made the cobler and OMG, if you love chocolate you
will love THIS! I made this cobler using frozen peaches and it was good but,
this is out of sight. Very rich, Next time I going to leave off the whipped
cream and just use Vanilla ice Cream, I do think that this would cut some of the
sweetness. Today show was very good. It was like 2 friends balenciaga

the wall just to have said that I was a part of it. Trisha Yearwood cook book is

My rating is for the show. I been watching Paula Deen since she started on
Food Network, and even though I have loved many of her recipes over the years,
today show didn sound like anything I be interested in. Wrong !!! This was the
best show ever. I don know anything about Patricia Yearwood or country music,
but I thought she was an ideal guest. I was so impressed that I learned from a
Google site that she has several cookbooks of her own. It so refreshing to see
someone on television who isn their merchandise or promoting something. All the
recipes looked good to me, and I be trying the very strange chocolate cobbler
